Grand Canyon

We drove along the north side of the Gorge de Verdon but spectacular though it was there was nowhere to park to take good photos. There was a lookout point over the” Grand Canyon” farther along which shows the river in the far distance. LooseCanon really really hates heights and felt very uncomfortable looking down on this. 
After that excitement we went to Moustiers Ste Marie which is one of the “ Plus Beaux Villages de France” . These tend to be very pretty but very touristy.

This evening after a very hot day we are in a lovely  campsite at Riez. Hoping to see some lavender fields tomorrow.
