Nurses who lunch

I don’t usually do people shots, but here we are, for 16 years we were the team of nurses who sorted out contraception for and did smear tests on the people of Huddersfield. Now 3 of us are retired, the remaining 2 (including me) will retire within the next year, one of the gang is missing as she tested positive for Covid. I no longer work with the team, as I was redeployed at the start of the pandemic and made the decision not to return. We may not still work together everyday, but when we meet it’s as if we’ve never been apart.
