Eggs

When I let the ducks out today I looked to see if Nancy had laid an egg. She had but it was broken. When I picked up the shell to see how strong it was I noticed it was quite thin and then I noticed this tiny little little egg in the nest area as well. She laid an egg within an egg!!! The other egg in the picture is one she had previously laid that was in the fridge just for size comparison. I guess it's not common but not unheard of for this to happen. Hopefully she will start laying regular eggs from now on. Dan thinks it's just a yoke in there. We'll see...
