After a very dull morning it brightened up this afternoon and lots of fluffy clouds appeared so popped down to the estuary with Misty early evening. She was a happy collie as her friend was down there too, so lots of barking and running around after the ball.
For the last three weeks I've been doing an extra stint of mucking out the two ponies and donkey for my elderly neighbour as the Monday lady has been away. Anyhow it was quite a sad time for her this morning as she had to say goodbye to Dolly the donkey. Its been on the cards for a while now and this morning it was obvious the time had come. So the vet was called to come and do the deed and the local farmer who also helps out with the ponies when he can, buried her this afternoon. She was 34, so a good age and my neighbour had her when she was 6 months.
