Hot, Hot, Hot

The weather is suddenly HOT, with temperatures around 29°C and very little wind.  This is not usually a problem with vanlife in this part of the world. I have warm clothes in the van, but no sun umbrella!  So we searched our boxes and came up with this reflective sheet to cover the windscreen, and a smaller one which is covering the open windows in the side of the van, both providing shade and reflecting heat away.  On the far side of the van the awning is out, also giving shade.
The weather meant more swimming and more SUP boarding. On day 1 SUP and swimming were synonymous, but now on day 4 I remain standing most of the time. I even rode out the (small) wake of a passing boat. I did two longer trips today, and came home fairly dry from both of them!
After a day on the water we headed for home, via that well known Swedish furniture provider, where we picked up a few bits and pieces.
