2022 Saturday — RJ’s 3rd BD Party

This is RJ (Robert John) our youngest great grandchild. Yesterday was his 3rd birthday. Today is his party AND he is so ready to party. And party is exactly what he did. A big inflated jump house with a water slide kept the youngsters busy sliding, squealing, and splashing into the little pool at the end of the slide.

His daddy prepared lots of food. Barbecued brisket, baked beans, and Mexican Street Corn were delicious. His mommy made a cake in the shape of the number 3 and also had cupcakes.

Lots of family and many friends came to RJ's celebration. The pile of presents was so attractive to RJ that while he was involved with the water slide, he asked his mom if he could open a present. And she said "Yes!" What fun. Then he was completely absorbed in playing with a great big battery powered truck for the next 15 or so minutes. Then back to the water activities.

It was hotter than heck outside, so when the birthday meal was served, Mr. Fun and I elected, along with several other people, to eat in the cool air-conditioned house.
