Innocent Bystander

The city treated the lake the other day for nuisance aquatic plants and today I noticed a number of detached and upturned water lily leaves. I'm pretty sure they should not have been affected, so hopefully it's just coincidence.

We have had a lot of wind and there was quite a swell on the water, maybe that had something to do with it. In this case, a leaf washed up onto the rocks, settling there like a discarded cap.
