Greenfinch

I haven't had a Greenfinch visit my garden for a number of years ..... just a pity that my bird photos have to be taken through my kitchen window. At the slightest sound of my back door opening the birds take to the wing and all that is left are the empty perches on the bird feeder.

A rather wet morning  but we were spared the rather strong wind that is blowing now. Poppy seemed quite unaffected by the rain and still went into the river to cool down.
