Lavender

After previously not having much success with lavender, W tried again a couple of years ago, and this year it looks splendid.  Plenty of bees seem to be enjoying it.

The garden is really dry, and looking quite neglected - so much so that it really doesn't give me much pleasure any more.  I just wish this sale would finally go through - it turns out it isn't our Sales Progression rep (SPR?) who is sick, but our buyers' conveyancer.  And it's only after M (the SPR) asked them for a progress report that someone at the practice has decided they'd better do something to help!  M assures us the buyers are keen to get a move on.  

Meanwhile, we look at houses on the Irish house sale website, and think - "oh, that looks like it might suit us" - only for it to disappear in a few days because someone else thought the same!

I spent more time (and money) on sewing today, as a displacement activity it is effective, but expensive.
