Lime tree walk

I had to take a roundabout route to the studio today, via Dukes Avenue, a rather posh street lined with flowering lime trees. The scent was wonderful. 

I had lunch with Martin and Peter. P told us that the recent electrical work, which tore up the whole length of the access road, will have to be redone because the workmen forgot to insert the cable into the pipes! (That’s the sort of mistake I would make.)

D and I watched a very old film, Bringing up Baby. Fun.
