We saw this lovely field of purple flowers on our walk this morning.  I think it's either Flax or Phacelia - either one it does look very pretty in the sunshine.   Just wish the wind would ease though.

I watched a Water Vole for several minutes this morning but only had my phone camera so no chance of a photograph.    So wonderful to see it feasting on young reeds by the river bank.
