Book Club

This month's Book Club reading was A Girl Is A Half-Formed Thing by Eimear McBride. The book was published in 2013 to great acclaim. It's been on my 'list' for a while so I was pleased with the choice.  However I'm afraid it wasn't for me.  I found the narrative very hard going and the subject unrelentlessly brutal. One member of the club did 'enjoy' the book although said she would only recommend it with caveats.  But it was a good book for discussion!
