Window

It may feel like we have only just returned from the Isle of Wight but our quest to try to find a bolthole on the island continues. After work today we got to Waterloo ready or the 7:30pm train to Portsmouth Harbour. We’d booked in to the Premier Inn at Portsmouth Dockyard so that we’re handy for the FastCat tomorrow morning.  

At Waterloo we stopped to grab and coffee and something to eat from Pret A Manger. I snapped this picture of the Friday evening commuter crowds through the window.  I like the way the star and the colours from the advertising board made it feel more Christmassy than March. 

The journey was uneventful and we arrived in time to have a steak at the Bar & Block Steakhouse attached to the hotel. We had a nice corner table and it was a much nicer experience than we had the last time we were there when there wasn’t much food.  The house hunt continues in the morning.
