The Goal Post Chalker’s Art

I like this boat as I used to live near Ilkeston, a Derbyshire town on the Erewash Canal. It is at the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port. Very interesting place. I was intrigued by the replica terrace of old boatmen’s cottages, and the very fine example of the goalpost chalker’s  art. (See extra)
