Farm at Eerde estate

The farmhouses near castle Eerde pay the estate for use of the land. They all have the same wooden shutters. It is common in the Netherlands that the (farm)houses that belong(ed) to a certain castle or estate would show the proper colours in the wooden shutters.

I did a nice walk today around the castle and on the estate.
