Bird food?

I took a walk around the garden this morning (it doesn't take long). Such a lot has changed during our week away - I guess the result of sunshine and rain. There is plenty of weeding to be done and a bit of cutting back before a jungle develops. Only the front lawn doesn't need cutting - what's left of it is brown.

As I walked around, this little bunch of red currants caught my eye as they sparkled in the sun. So far they have survived uneaten (maybe the cat has frightened the birds away) but either I pick them soon or they will no doubt disappear down a cheeky gullet.
