In the night garden

I do love a solar nightlight in the garden. This one sits just behind a huge Generous Gardener rose, I hadn’t realised how much rose foliage has grown up around it and how captivating the light illuminating the leaves is on this balmy evening. I rarely set foot in the garden after dusk thanks to the mosquito peril, I’m they’re favourite snack apparently. I’m glad I did tonight though.

My newly engaged son and his ‘future wife’ (they’re not keen on fiancée/fiancé) popped in today after their whirlwind few days in Nice, it was lovely to see her wearing the ring and to share their joy. Happy days!
