Out for a walk again tonight. Because my heel had been hurting underneath after the weekend's walk, I thought it might be a good idea to put one of those gel plasters around it - you can get heel-shaped ones especially. However, it didn't seem to lessen the soreness at all, and when I got back, I took off my sock to discover a huge blood blister there. I think maybe the gel plaster had just made matters worse as it made the shoe rub even more. Anyway, anyone any good ideas on how to make it heel (sic!) more quickly? [And that means you, Dr. Chris!]
