Ghostly sewing machines 100 years on......

A couple of days ago I blipped a Ghost sign, and commented that I had a few more eyed up waiting to be done! Well this evening I picked Miss H up from work and I took the opportunity to cross one off my list. This is W Sellers Sewing and Knitting Machines.
I have driven past this many many times, my grandmother worked in the building when it was Peter Black's, and now Miss H is working there for a technology company. However it was only this evening that I googled W Sellers , and discovered that they were one of the first sewing machine manufacturers in the UK. Acorrding to the web they were in production on this site from 1850's to around 1920. It would seem that this sign therefore must be around a centuary old.

I want to do some more research on the company, but timed out for today..... but at least I have my second Ghost Sign....
