Mermaid

Mermaid wanted to look out the window today instead of being in the drawer guarding today's invoices. 

I used to joke that my dearly departed dog, Evee, was my one sole employee with the title of chief officer of company morale.  After she died, the void was too great and Mermaid became chief officer of company morale.  Evee and I found her at a festival we attended together years ago. 

I'm not completely around the bend yet but definitely am touching that shore with a toe.
