Jack

This evening I visited my best friend Lucy, who is home from Scotland for a couple of days before heading off to some remote Irish island to track seabirds. We don't see each other very often so I was happy to drive a couple of hours across the country to have dinner together.

I visited Luce at her parents' house, which was like a second home to me when I was growing up, and is an amazing place to visit. We walked her dog in the fields, then sat in the summer house overlooking the lake (yeah, I know). We chatted about life and love and had a great laugh reminiscing about our schooldays. As we talked I snapped a quick shot of Lucy's dog Jack, always on guard :)
