Evening Swim

I walked up to M&S and Tesco this morning. I did a big loop and it rained on me on the way home. I needed to rest my achy legs so I sat in the summerhouse and had a read when I got home. I had a quick walk down to see Pat for a cuppa and whilst there Victoria sent a text saying she was swimming tonight so I raced home and put my cossie on and whizzed to the Quays.

Team REDD we’re doing a final swim before the girls head to jersey in a few days for their big swim….Jersey to France.

It was a few degrees cooler than the lake on Sunday and I did start to feel a bit chilly. It was a nice swim though.

I was talking to Karen when I got out and saying I’d had a mad moment and entered the 5k swim in a couple of weeks. I got a bit animated and ended up hitting myself in the face and drawing blood…what a plonker. You can just see the mark under my left eye on the bad photo I took. I had it on portrait and half the group are out of focus, doh!
