Highcliffe Beach

Walked down to the beach after breakfast.
According to Google Fit, our friends live 880 steps from this beach.
My, we are so jealous of them being so near the sea!

Circular walk along the beach and up to Christchurch and then along the cliff top back to Highcliffe.

Lunch alfresco then a trip to the New Forest to a bit known as Ornamental Drive.
Such a beautiful forest with some majestic trees.
Saw loads of ponies again on the way back. Stopped off at a nice country hotel for a cup of tea.

Yummy dinner then played Codenames - girls beat the boys :)

Our friends live in a lovely part of the country. Perfect hosts.
Back home tomorrow to our land locked county.
