Wild Wednesday ...

... wild flowers.

On one of our walks at Housenick Memorial park recently we stopped to talk to another walker.  He was carrying binoculars so we figured he was a birder ... and they are usually friendly types!  Just like us!

We got to talking about different places to see wildlife and he mentioned a park that we haven't been to before ... Wayne A. Grube Memorial Park.  Today we checked it out and weren't disappointed!  Although we didn't really see many birds or other wildlife ... it was still a nice walk.  We had packed up our lunch as there are picnic pavilions on site and then after eating we took our walk.  

And even though we didn't see all that much wildlife we did see lots of pretty wild flowers ... and bees.  Thanks to Cailleach for keeping Wednesday's wild!  Sorry for the week late post!
