Shipbuilding
I drove through to Clydebank this morning to take a friend to the Golden Jubilee Hospital for assessment ahead of an op. While that was being undertaken, I took myself across the Clyde to Port Glasgow to see the recent statue of two shipbuilders in Coronation Park.
They are very impressive. They are also a favourite resting point for seagulls. I like this somewhat threatening angle.
I had the added bonus if seeing the Waverley, the paddle steamer, ploughing its way down the Clyde under somewhat grey skies.
