Recount

Well, it turns out there were 3 fledglings, one of which we have named Red Little Head.
His body appears to be the same size as his siblings - at first I thought his head was too small, but maybe he just has a shortage of feathers? I’m going to try and get in touch with the local bird rehabber who has helped me in the past and see if she sees any cause for concern.
I saw 3 fledglings from this nest last year, too, so that’s kind of interesting. They are located across from the rose garden a/k/a squirrel party park, so maybe that helps?
