Mauchline Kirk Silhouette

Went to visit my friend this afternoon in East Ayrshire, on my way home I decided to take the long way home & passed through the village of Mauchline, famous ( among other things) for having the Poet Robert Burns live near by on his Fathers Farm ( mossgiel) and later he & his beloved Jean Armour rented a house next door, having walked around to look at the old grave stones ( love old gravestones) took several photos of the Kirk & on the way out I turned around to say a farewell to this building and the history it contains, when I looked up into the afternoon sun blocking my vision & thought... Mmmm! Silhouette :-)

Proper look at this village is now on the cards for sure!
