The End of the World

I was looking on Google maps a few days ago and spied a landmark close to work, so I made a mental note to check it out sometime.

Traffic was kind this morning, so rather than parking in my usual spot, I followed the road round until I couldn’t get any further then walked the rest of the way.
The landmark says ‘The Worlds End’ and this is the view from pinned location.

As you all know, my clinic is on the marina in the Preston Docklands, so this estuary is the one that feeds the locks and marina. At 8.10am, it was really peaceful and a nice place to just stand, stare and breathe before heading into work :-)
