Optical storage

I bet that most of you youngsters don't even know what this is! The first time I saw one it cost a squigabazilion quid and was fitted as a drive. When they were available as stand-alone peripherals they were the size of a shoe box and still cost a significant amount of money. Now they are super-slimline and cost just over a tenner. I had to dig it out because I was looking for a document in an old archive. And if you've not got it yet, it's a DVD writer (DVD RW) and I have DVDs with back-ups from previous laptops. Now stuff is stored to the cloud
