Incredible art

Today I helped out with Ellie’s group of Ukrainian students. They did half a session of campfire cooking with Ellie and then half a session of wild craft with me. I can’t quite believe that we started the start of the session with a few lumps of coal and ended the session with the most incredible artwork. I tried not to ask too many questions, as I’m sure they must have told their stories a billion times over, but the little they did tell me was devastating. Bright and brilliant young people, in a strange country that they shouldn’t have to be in.

The rest of the day was a manic rush but ended nicely with a lovely visit from musicalblips and then the last ever episode of Dawson’s Creek with Grace.
