Somewhere under this...

Is one of the newly planted borders full of beautiful plants.

4 hours after starting the weeding I should have taken another photo to show what it looks like now, unfortunately I just carried on with the weeding.

To be fair the topsoil and compost which all the borders are made from only had annual weeds in and, now they are gone before setting more seed, should remain much clearer. 

After a whole day of weeding I was quite happy to finish with a trip out to the pub with RF and a group of people who used to meet more regularly than they do now.
