Blooming Beautiful!

Believe it or not, this massive patch of Chrysanthemum's is just one plant, and this photo shows about a third of the expanse of flowers on the plant.

For about the last eight years, maybe longer, I had the plant growing in a large pot. It did do quite well occasionally, then at times it looked downright dead! I'd continue to water the plant though, and it always came back to life and lived to see another year.

A few months ago, before Christmas, I decided it was time for do or die for my Chrysanthemum plant. Out it came from the pot and into the garden it was planted.

As you can see, this is a plant that decided to "do", looking more lush and colourful than ever before it its long lifetime!

Maybe it should have been planted in the garden in the first place. :))
