Which way Mom?

Today was a bright sunny day, I spent most of the time running errands as tomorrow will be Canada day. I got down to the lake in the evening and spotted this mother duck and baby's swimming away but not sure which way to go. Since I got too close to them I same sure it was just to another safe spot.
