Jon arrived overnight; we all went to the shops in Es Mercadal and then for coffee on Monte Toro (Menorca's highest mountain hill) in the morning.
We were going to go to the trotting races in the late afternoon (one of my family's favourite Menorca rituals), but it turns out to have a changed summer schedule (Friday evenings rather than Saturday late afternoons) meaning we'd missed it (boo!), SO we just went for a drink at Cala Fons before supper.
