Mounty

A day trip down to St Michael's Mount today. My first visit here and it's really pretty.

Originally founded by monks from the eponymous Mount St Michele. A very long time ago.

We got the boat out, went round the castle and gardens, Miss42 exited by the gift shop and we then walked back against the tide (of tourists) along the causeway.

Time for a bite to eat before heading on down to Penzance to see the pirates. Of course
