Holyhead breakwater

The Holyhead breakwater looked a long way away from where we were standing on a windy mountainside  where we walked today. We were a little miffed that the car park would only take cash although it had the facility for card payments. We had paid for 4 hours car parking at £5 so knew we had to be back by then. We had parked in the country park, there were some signs initially and then nothing and we made hard work of our return. No rain today and a lady commented she was glad we were in front on the way up as she didn’t fancy the route another couple had taken which looked rather steep. We intend to return to see the other side, South Stacks.
