Heads up

This morning I went bowling in the park. It was enjoyable as always.  I then went to F's for something to eat before we had a walk around Oswestry.

This is Victoria House which was an entertainment venue for over 200 years.  It started life as a theatre and then became a nightspot. It closed a few years ago and the building was converted into flats.  I don't know the history of the heads above the doors, perhaps they used to be inside when it was a theatre.

The town has another nightclub and the Attfield Theatre puts on great plays so together with the small cinema there is still plenty of entertainment.
