Ladies who lunch

Met up with my friend Susan at lunchtime for lunch to celebrate the first day of her 3 month sabbatical from work. She’s taking the time off to properly celebrate turning 50. Blipped a floral arch as we were at the St James quarter and they’re running ‘Fleurs de ville’, a floral exhibition celebrating women including Mary Queen of Scots and Annie Lennox amongst many others. Home by 5 and my crochet frenzy over the last few days had paid off and I have only 1 more square to finish and then make up the two front panels and 1 sleeve. It’s been a real labour of love but will be finished soon.
