Journey Home

Time to say goodbye to Wales again for a while.  We decided to call at Talacre Lighthouse on the way home, and we arrived earlier than expected so called at Rhuddlan Castle on the way through.  I don't think I've been to this castle before, which is surprising to me - my childhood was often spent castle exploring in Wales.

Our way home was damp - some torrential rain on the M62.  After a while, Sharon realised that we were basically driving under the storm and it was moving with us, so we paused over the tops for 15 minutes, and had a much more pleasant drive after that!
