Dead

Late discovery, but we found two maples, and two smaller trees on our walk, dead. Our best guess is the crazy heat of last summer got them. I planted these 23 years ago, spring 1999. Victims of the drought, now. I loved how their big leaves spilled on our walking trail in the fall.
