National Museum Foyer

I adore the Chambers Street Museum and have been going there for as long as I can remember. I used to love sticking my head through the railings and watching the goings-on in the foyer down below. My parents always warned me about getting my head stuck but I guess my brain wasn't big enough back then because I could get my bonce through there no problem. I haven't tried it recently.

Did you know the museum building was designed by civil engineer Captain Francis Fowke of the Royal Engineers, who is also responsible for the Royal Albert Hall? Well now you do!
