Judith's photos

The first full day of our mini-break brought wall to wall grey and rain. Driving up Porlock Hill with its 1 in 4 gradient and hairpin bends was joyous (not) but we enjoyed visiting the Lorna Doone Inn in the Oare Valley.
There has been a tea garden here since at least 1960 but the site was put up for sale by the former owner's son. The National Trust bought part of the site and have started renovating it but the shop is still up for sale.
Afterwards we went into Dunster.
