Festival!

I painted this today in anticipation of this summer’s Bellingham Festival of Music which began today. I make a point of staying put during July so I don’t miss it. This year we signed up for all the orchestra concerts. Tomorrow is our first performance. We are in the front row because Shelly can get to his seat there with only one stair to climb. I’m so looking forward to this season filled with Beethoven including all his piano concertos. It Is Meistro Michael Palmer’s last season. He was the founding artistic director when the Festival began in 1993. I’ve been to almost all the concerts since the beginning.
