Hybrid Artworks

My latest project, which has kept me well and truly distracted for the last four weeks, has been to develop a technique I first devised nearly 20 years ago.

I coined the name Hybrid Artworks to describe something which is not a photograph and not a painting, but a combination of the two. 

A professional artist and colleague of mine saw some and enthused, urging me to develop the technique further, which I have been doing to the exclusion of all else since the start of June.

Here is one example. I have had some of the images made into a photo-book which should arrive any day.

It really is quite absorbing and lots of fun.

I leave it to you as to whether it is a waste of time or not.
