Baling the hay '22

I started the day raking most of the hay, but not all as most of it would have to be wrapped anyway, so it wouldn't have to be so dry. The original plan was to bale it on Saturday, but in the afternoon forecasts had rain for the night. The hay had dried quite well, so some of it could be left unwrapped even though being baled earlier, and as the contractor had time in the evening, we decided to get it baled.

I raked it with the big rake (the one with the infamous and ill-fated repair history, in the extra). It was a long evening, as we drove the unwrapped bales home with two trailers, four journeys to the field and back for each. We quit after 11 pm and went for a late swim afterwards!
