Storks

Martina is house-sitting in Ohlstadt just now so dropped by for breakfast. That’s her just left after 7 in the evening! Had a wander around town this morning before we took a drive out to Raisting and stopped to see this stork family on the way; not the whole family as one parent is probably away looking for food and just the one chick which is almost as big as the parent bird but all white and still fluffy.
Onward to the beer garden at Stillern we were caught in the middle of a vintage sports car rally which was great as we saw some fantastic classic cars. And then there was a wedding going on at the beer garden so we were treated to the wedding band’s first set. Not sure about their opening number being Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ but maybe the bride was making a point?!
Back home and too hot to sit out on the terrace (changeable weather is a severe understatement) so we’re off to the pictures now. Another test of my German.
