The Swedish Girl

What's with the strange image and the stranger title?

Well last month I recreated the cover of the Book I was reading at the time.

Currently I am reading The Swedish Girl by Alex Gray. I have read a few of her page-turner crime thrillers. She is co-founder of the Bloody Scotland Crime Writing Festival.

For the image I wouldn't have picked this particular crop, or flipped the canvas, or applied the blue toning. But all of that was just a bit of fun to get close to what is on the cover of the Book.

Next time I decide to do this maybe I should read a book with a more exotic location and front cover!
