Poppy.

Saw this bright Poppy on the side of the road as I walked to the Garden centre. Ran it through an App to make it slightly more interesting.

I was nipping to the garden centre to get some ingredients for a recipe I was trying out. For what I believe is the first time ever, I'm having to bin the dish. I misread the dark chocolate quantity for the 'Burnt aubergine veggie chilli' - No idea what I was thinking about adding 100g instead of 20! I think my head is in a different place at the moment!

Called into Jodie as it was her husband's birthday today. Woody had an amazing report. He's doing well academically, but that's not what counts for me, it's the fact that he is kind, polite and inclusive with other members of his class, imaginative too in initiating games. Very proud as we often feel he is in the shadow of his very bright elder brother Franky.

Made a start at shortening the curtains for the garden room, not as easy as I thought when I bought IKEA curtains, I actually think it would have been easier to make them from scratch than alter them! I made the curtains for years in our previous house and wanted to be lazy here.
