Jazz n poetry

Slow day, cloudy and windy at first but after lunch the warmth was back after yesterdays rain and thunder.

A tip from a friend made me go to a concert this evening. "Poetry on Öland" is an arrangement where poets from this island, living or dead, get their poetry read by others or themselves or, as in tonights concert, has their poetry set to music. Five excellent jazz musicians has composed music to the poetry of a female poet, who died in the nineties, Anna Rydstedt.  I knew the pianoplayer but none of the others and didn't expect anything. I was moved by the arrangements, the singers and the concert format which worked excellent in a church. You see the instruments, imagine something suiting your taste played on them.
