carnival day

My first day in the town for almost 2 weeks.  It happened to be carnival day.   The town carnival is always a big deal - and especially so this year as it's the 60th anniversary of the carnival  - and it's also the first since lockdown began.

I managed to get a haircut - our hairdresser had a spare slot because people had cancelled ..... because of the carnival.  

A quick blip of people watching a 'fun-run'.  Later on there will be floats and parades and all manner of street entertainment.

But not for me.  I've had enough excitement for one day.
